The maintenance team this week has been on the River Ancholme at Cake Mills.

On Wednesday, we did all pegs and steps from the wire fence to motorway bridge

On Thursday, Springs all pegs we could find (think we got them all) from the road bridge to the motorway bridge. A lot of the platforms were covered by weed from dredging making it hard to find. Some pegs could do with a reed cutter to clear what we couldn’t.

Lots of small fish topping on Springs, water clear with levels up a bit, most platforms on cake mills had a few inches of water on, water was being run off at a nice pace.
