Yaddlethorpe Ponds closures & restrictions
Due to the ongoing drought and consequential low Dissolved Oxygen Levels we have taken the decision to close the fishery for the foreseeable future.
After conferring with the EA and taking into account the blue/green algae formation (possibly toxic to humans and certainly removes even more oxygen) the decision has been taken to temporarily close this fishery.
24-25 Aug. Entire fishery closed off. Entrance to be retarmacked. To be confirmed as Highways will be responsible for traffic control. 2-3 Sept. All ponds closed to facilitate lily removal (Nationwide Lake and Pond Management).
Black Bank and Medge Hall along with K&S Canal are available as usual.
