SAA facilitated this year’s collaboration of AT/EA/Rural Police in Operation Clampdown. A good turnout of VPS bailiffs and our club bailiffs …..who took the role of “spotters”. The object was to confront those fishing out of season. The EA also took the opportunity to check licenses on some of our other waters and as we would expect everyone had a current licence to fish in their possession. The AT who led this exercise were very complementary with regards to the bailiff turnout and about our facilities. The EA took the opportunity to audit Yaddlethorpe Ponds and our systems of management……everything was in order. There will be further details released by the AT early next week on main media.
