Brief description of fishery:
This picturesque stretch of the tidal R Trent is rarely fished, as It is fairly isolated, which you may consider either an advantage or a disadvantage, depending upon your preferences and expectations.
Only if surface conditions permit, cars may be driven downstream of Trent Lane and parked on the flood bank, but ONLY for the unloading and loading of tackle. Once all of your gear is on the bank, you MUST return your car to one of the 2 parking areas.
If the bailiffs consider the flood bank too soft, notices will be posted telling members that no vehicles are to be driven along the bank.
Night fishing is allowed on this venue – see instructions at the bottom of this page
The statutory coarse fish closed season applies to the River Trent (No fishing is allowed between March 15th – June 15th Inclusive)
Dawn to dusk – Fishing times
Night fishing, which in this context means both fishing all night or for just a couple of hours after dark, is allowed on this venue subject to the following:
- You have purchased an SAA night permit (this is currently only available to those who have previously purchased one).
- You have sent a text message to 07943651992 stating your full name, your membership number, the venue and the date that intend to night fish.
